Ironson, J.S.C., conducted a proof hearing on the issue of damages inclusive of legal fees and costs, and found our hourly rates to be fair and reasonable, and awarded the firm legal fees based on such an hourly rate.

Hillman, U.S.M.J., United States District Court, Camden District, conducted an intensive fee application and found our hourly rates to be fair and reasonable, and awarded the firm legal fees based on such an hourly rate.

The Firm prevailed in litigating a disability discrimination and retaliation case to verdict against FlightSafety International, Inc., et al., Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Essex County, before the Honorable Francine A. Schott, J.S.C. This case was vigorously litigated before a Jury of 8. All eight jurors deliberated over the course of two days which resulted in a verdict in support of our client as to the disability discrimination and the retaliation. Thus, the Firm prevailed, before the jury, in obtaining a verdict on both of these causes of action. Defendants were represented by Steven I. Adler, Esq. of Mandelbaum, Salsburg, Gold, Lazris & Discenza, P.C.

The Firm prevailed in litigating a wage case and defending on a breach of contract case to verdict in the matter of Corey Harris v. H&K Furniture d/b/a Huffman Koos, Anthony Mehran, et al., Docket No.: ESX-L- 3735-11, Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Essex County, before the Honorable Francine A. Schott, J.S.C. This case was commenced as a jury trial for its first two days and ended by consent of both parties as a judge alone trial. The Firm prevailed in obtaining a verdict on the wage payment law cause of action and prevailed in getting a no cause on the Defendant’s counterclaim.

Joseph A. Donelson v. DuPont Chambers Works (A-112-09) (065628). Wonderful victory. The New Jersey Supreme Court reversed the Appellate Court in favor of plaintiff in case of extreme significance. Ty Hyderally, President of NELA-NJ, submitted a brief on behalf of amicus curiae National Employment Lawyers Association/New Jersey (Hyderally & Associates, attorneys; Mr. Hyderally and Francine R. Foner, on the brief). The New Jersey Supreme Court held that employees in the State of New Jersey can recover lost wages when they are the victims of engaging in whistleblowing activity pursuant to the Conscientious Employee Protection Act ("CEPA"), even if there is no constructive discharge. Argued that appellate court was wrong in dismissing matter where the plaintiff was referred to as a “Dirty Jew.” Case was heard before the New Jersey Supreme Court. Decision is still pending.

Appellate Court ruled in our client's favor to reverse granting of Summary Judgment and remand matter for trial.
